Route 11 Potato Chips are one of the most famous things to come out of Virginia's pristine Shenandoah Valley. Beginning in an old feed store in Middletown Virginia, Route 11's founders began creating their tasty chips by hand 10 years ago and today continue to produce one of the best potato chips on the planet. Featuring numerous varieties, some of Route 11's famous
flavors include Lightly Salted, Barbecue, Dill Pickle, Sour Cream & Chives, Chesapeake Crab, Salt & Vinegar, Garlic & Herbs, Sweet Potato, and Cinnamon Sweet Potato chips. Be sure to try as many kinds as you can!
These notorious chips have been featured in several publications including Real Simple Magazine, Esquire, Southern Living and the Washington Post and can be found at the Route 11 Potato Chip Factory and Retail Store and various shops and roadside stands across the region. Visitors can tour the factory Monday through Friday 9 to 5 in Middletown or purchase the different varieties at their new location in Mount Jackson.
