Annual Leesburg Flower & Garden Festival

The Leesburg Flower & Garden Festival takes place each year at the height of Spring when the flowers and plants are beginning to bud. This great Virginia Festival offers information on flowers and plants and displays award winning landscape designs by some of the nations best landscape designers. Virginia Wine Festival in Manassas

The Virginia Wine Festival in Manassas is the oldest and largest wine festival on the East Coast and is a grand tasting event from Virginia's award winning wineries and vineyards. Some highlights from Virginia Wine Festivals of year's past include educational demonstrations, live entertainment with a main stage and children's stage, many culinary delights and rows and rows of vendors and crafters. This event is sponsored by the Vinifera Wine Growers Association and celebrates the wonderful Virginia wine industry. The Leesburg Virginia Wine Festival is held at the Morven Park Equestrian Center and is a grand two day event featuring art exhibits, a large tasting space with over 50 Virginia wineries, a gourmet spread, a concert series and a great outdoor vending arena. Drawing record crowds each year this event is one of the best Virginia Wine Festivals and tasting events in the region. Be prepared to shop as there are several vendors, craft tents, and commercial and gourmet exhibitors.

Every year in August Tarara Winery hosts one of the best events of the year, the Blackberry Days Wine Festival. This year for the 8th year in a row, visitors and guests are invited to enjoy and sample the new summer wines, great live bands, and ripe blackberries, which are ready for the pickin'. Every year the Leesburg Animal Park hosts the Pumpkinville Festival, a fun weekend filled with camel rides, face and pumpkin painting, mini tractor rides, comedy shows, magic shows, puppeteers, and great food. Located centrally in Loudoun, Leesburg has historically been the place to conduct business. In fact in the late 18th century, Leesburg was the place to visit once a year during the time the Circuit Court of Leesburg was in session as it was a time when citizens from all over Loudoun County would come to the city to trade, creating an exciting, festival like atmosphere. Today, each year in October, Leesburg hosts the Court & Market Days which pays homage to the early history of the county. During this time downtown becomes filled with artists, crafters, traders, and other hands on children’s stations for families and their loved ones to enjoy. In addition to the great market, the days also feature historical court case reenactments of cases heard during the period between 1750 and 1825.
